CJE SeniorLife Opens CJE Metro: Bringing Care and Connection Closer to Home in Lakeview and Near North Neighborhoods

Chicago, IL — March 1, 2026: CJE SeniorLife is proud to announce the launch of CJE Metro, a new neighborhood-based outpost designed to make aging services more accessible to older adults and families living in Lakeview and Chicago’s Near North neighborhoods.

CJE Metro serves as a welcoming, community-centered hub where older adults and their families can access personalized care coordination, navigate benefits and services, build meaningful social connections, and engage with the broader CJE SeniorLife network—all close to home.

Whether individuals are new to CJE SeniorLife or already connected, CJE Metro is a welcoming hub centered on dignity, independence, and well-being, reflecting CJE SeniorLife’s commitment to meeting older adults where they are and responding to the evolving needs of Chicago’s aging population.

Leadership and Care Coordination
CJE Metro is led by Shayna Jensky, LSW, a Licensed Social Worker with expertise in gerontology and aging services. Shayna provides individualized care coordination, assists older adults and families in navigating benefits and community resources, and connects participants to wellness, social, and supportive programs across CJE SeniorLife.
She also partners with local synagogues and community partners to strengthen neighborhood-based support networks and expand access to services for older adults and caregivers.
