A Message of Gratitude and Reflection

Dear CJE SeniorLife Community,

CJE has always been rooted in connection and care. As many of you navigate stressful or uncertain moments right now, we want you to feel the strength of that community around you.

We know that current events, both here and abroad, are weighing heavily on many of you and creating feelings of stress or uncertainty. Please know that you are not alone. Several of you have also shared concerns about the stability of public benefits, caregiving supports, and safety in your community. We want you to know that we take these concerns seriously.

Please know:

  • We are here with you and for you—now and for the long haul.
  • Our commitment remains unchanged: to support older adults and the people who care for them with compassion, dignity, and respect.
  • We continue to provide wraparound services, including benefits assistance, care coordination, and emotional support.
  • We advocate every day for policies that support older adults and provide sustaining care for people to age in their community of choice.
  • If something feels uncertain or overwhelming, we want to hear from you. Please know that we are just a phone call away.

If you or your family have unmet needs—whether practical, emotional, or related to caregiving or benefits—we are here to listen and to help connect you to support. (If you need urgent emotional support outside of business hours, please call 988, the 24-hour suicide and crisis lifeline.)
