
Dan Fagin joined CJE SeniorLife in 2018 as President and Chief Executive Officer. Since then, he has led the organization with a focus on innovation, operational excellence, and strengthening CJE as a vital resource for older adults and their families throughout the Chicago area.
Before coming to CJE, Fagin served as CEO of Cedar Village Retirement Community in Mason, Ohio, where he guided strategic growth and organizational improvement. His senior leadership experience also includes his tenure as Chief Operating Officer of The Jewish Federation of Cincinnati, his hometown community. There, he established a shared services model for Jewish communal agencies and congregations and launched SAFE Cincinnati, a pioneering community security and disaster preparedness initiative.
Across his accomplished 30-year career, Fagin has held leadership roles in both nonprofit and corporate environments, including positions with Protiviti Inc., Arthur Andersen, Ernst & Young, Kettering Medical Center, and Florida Hospital, where he led initiatives in operations, strategy, and information technology.
Fagin earned an MBA from Thomas More College and a B.S. in Finance from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business.
