CJE SeniorLife Earns National Dementia Care Distinction
EVANSTON, IL, July 1, 2026—CJE SeniorLife’s Zoller Kaplan Families Center for Cognitive Services has been named a national “Excellence in Care Dementia Care Program of Distinction” by the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America, recognizing the organization’s commitment to high-quality, person-centered dementia care.
The prestigious national designation follows a comprehensive evaluation of staff, care practices, and environment to ensure alignment with best practices in dementia care. CJE is receiving the honor for the first time and is only the third organization in Illinois to earn the distinction.

The Excellence in Care designation is awarded to organizations that meet rigorous standards in three key areas: facilitating meaningful engagement, promoting safety and security, and supporting the overall health and wellness of individuals living with dementia.
