CJE SeniorLife Dedicates Zoller/Kaplan Families Center for Cognitive Services
New Evanston center expands coordinated dementia care for individuals and families
EVANSTON, IL, June 25, 2026 — CJE SeniorLife dedicated the Zoller/Kaplan Families Center for Cognitive Services in Evanston. The Center expands and reimagines support for individuals living with cognitive decline and their care partners. Leaders from the Jewish Federation of Chicago and CJE joined donor families and staff to celebrate this milestone.
Building on CJE’s longstanding Adult Day Services program, the Center delivers a more comprehensive, coordinated approach to cognitive wellness. Designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease, other dementias, and mild cognitive impairment, it provides guidance, services, and resources at every stage of the journey, helping families move forward with clarity, confidence, and dignity.
“At its core, this Center exists to answer the question so many families face: what comes next after a diagnosis?” said Tori Gruber, Senior Manager of Cognitive Wellness. “We provide guidance, compassion, and a network of support so no one has to navigate memory loss alone.”
The dedication featured remarks from Lonnie Nasatir, President and CEO of the Jewish Federation of Chicago; Dan Fagin, President and CEO of CJE SeniorLife; and members of the Zoller and Kaplan families, whose generosity made the Center possible. Guests also toured the space and learned about its innovative programs and services.
