Tools to manage and reduce your feelings of depression
In this video, Peter Tsurkis, Licensed Clinical Social Worker with CJE Counseling Services will give you seven concrete tools and skills you can practice on a daily basis to manage your feelings of depression, and hopefully, over time, reduce those feelings of depression. Depression rears its ugly head differently for everyone, however, many individuals with depression may become avoidant, withdraw socially, and lose interest in things. To address these issues, we will be using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an extensively researched and highly effective therapeutic treatment method. Particularly, we will be focusing on behavioral activation.
