Gidwitz Place is a modern six-story apartment building with 125 individual one and two bedroom apartments, each with a private kitchen and bath. In addition, meet new friends or connect with others you may have known in high school or from the JCC... many people throughout the Chicago community have "come home to Gidwitz Place"!
Residents receive assistance with housekeeping and basic personal care, restaurant-style kosher breakfast and dinner every day, a wide range of educational, social and cultural programs and many amenities. Staff is on the premises 24 hours a day, including a registered nurse during daytime hours. Trips to stores, special events and sites of special interest are part of the regular schedule of activities. Here are just a few of the amenities that are available to Gidwitz residents:

- Specially-assigned Resident Assistant, available 24 hours day/7 days a week
- Three kosher meals daily
- Dining assistance
- In-house escorts to meals and activities
