Robineau Residence is located in Skokie, IL— a beautiful suburban residential neighborhood. It offers a great value for 24 seniors who qualify for subsidized housing. Each resident has a fully furnished private bedroom and bathroom and is provided with two hot meals a day. The building was carefully designed to encourage and build a true community of senior adults. Each group of four private rooms opens into a shared suite that includes a full kitchen and living room area. This arrangement is creates an atmosphere of independence and sociability. Robineau is managed by dedicated CJE staff who are committed to enhancing the quality of life for all the residents, 24 hours a day. There is never a dull moment at Robineau! The professional staff, along with many devoted volunteers, provide a full menu of social, cultural and educational programs.
All residents need to qualify for subsidized housing under provisions of HUD’s Section 8 program. Robineau’s monthly fees are comprised of rent and service fee. The fees cover kosher lunch and dinner daily, weekly housekeeping and linen services, all utilities (except phone and cable TV), transportation, activities, free laundry machines and maintenance.
